Your task is to choose an aspect of the environment that interests you. You need to explain to people what this is and the impact people are having on this problem. You then need to inform others what they could do to help reduce their Global Footprint and/or improve the quality of our environment.

A site looking at climate change in relation to New Zealand. The site has info on climate change and how different sectors in NZ contribute to it and possible solutions. A brilliant site with an emphasis on how individuals can make a difference. The message is turn down, switch off, recycle and walk. There is a useful section for teachers with downloadable resources such as powerpoints, postcards, brochures and more. This page from espere (Environmental Science Published for Everybody Round the Earth) is very useful and has both basic and more in-depth information. General information on climate and how other natural forces affect global warming can be found be This is a site designed specifically for children and is excellent with great information and very easy to navigate. This site has some good information that kids can understand. Look at what climate change is, cause and effects, what individuals can do to help. Note that when you click on a heading, the subheadings are often on the left. Play a climate change game where you are in charge of a country and have to make changes to protect the planet while still staying popular with voters. BBC Weather Centre - Climate Change A thorough site looking at evidence, impacts, adaptation, policies and links about global warming. This site has a variety of videos on the topic of global warming and other environmental issues. Tomorrow's Challenge, Today's Climate This site is yet another very good source of quality information on what global warming is and what to do about it.
